Elio, a hidden gem in Leichhardt, is proving to Sydney sides that the Italians still dominate Australia’s food market. Head Chef Daniele Giannuzzi brings rustic flavours and the Southern backbone of Italian cuisine to Norton Street. The Pugliese Fish Soup is a hometown signature with its balance of Mediterranean flavours. Daniel uses four types of stock and a combination of fresh calamari, black mussels, baby clams, prawns and leather jacket.
